GREATER DC PEOPLES MOVEMENT ASSEMBLY
Our purpose in gathering was to affirm our mutual agreement and support for the issue sectors agendas as they promote a greater well being for the entire region. These sectors include but are not limited to: Inter-faith communities, Housing, Immigration, Youth, Education, Workers' Rights, Health Care, Peace/anti-war, & Public Services/Budget. To this end we pledged our support and solidarity across these issue areas and community sectors.

Resolution Summary
In this time of political, economic, and social turmoil, the people of the Greater Washington, DC region are more than ever committed to building a just and equitable society; one in which all of its citizenry can thrive and prosper socially, culturally, and economically.
Therefore we identify the following priorities:
