In order to create another world is possible, and make another United States necessary for social systemic change, we must rescue our historical place in humanity and redress long term injustices of people forced to migrate away from their ancestral lands…

Historically, the immigrants have been the Europeans who came in the 1500’s and invaded the continents of North, South and Central America and ground zero of colonial occupation, the Caribbean.  The colonialization of the ‘Native people’ means that the Indigenous people were enslaved by the Spanish, British, French empires and later by U.S. imperialism.  This historical oppression has been endured for over 500 years until present day.

The results of 500 plus years of European colonialization by the major empires of yesterday or the imperialism of the United States in modern times, resulted in millions of Indigenous (Native) peoples were ‘forcibly’ removed from their ancestral lands in order for privatization of those lands.  It resulted in the ‘forced enslavement’ of some 15 million Africans transported in shackles across the oceans to the continents of the Americas.

The competition and wars for ‘free trade’ by the French and British with the Spanish empire, including Portuguese, Dutch and Danish, went hand in hand with expansionism and control of choice markets and the forced displacement of millions of people from the colony to the metropolis, like the case of the ‘longest existing colony’, now under U.S. control, Puerto Rico, whose Diaspora has half of its population living in the United States and the other half in the Island Nation today!

Today the ‘Free Trade’ wars results in ‘forced migrations’ for example, the Philippines under U.S. control as a neo-colony, has millions of its people scattered throughout the world as so called ‘guest workers’.  Under the ‘free trade’ of North America (NAFTA), Mexico has displaced over 20 million people forced to migrate all over the world including some 15 million in the United States.

The wars for capitalist market control under the neo-liberal globalization plan and expansion program result in military wars in the Middle East, forced removal of Palestinian populations, and millions of forced displacement in Africa.  The Central American wars and the dirty wars of counter-insurgency dislocated millions of Central Americans now living in Los Angeles, California.

Finally, ‘forced displacement’ can be internal to a country as was the case after the devastation by Hurricane Katrina, transparently racist forced removal program of the African American, Black people, from New Orleans and Louisiana.  The same ‘removal’ program is being played out in Haiti today.

Because the ‘free trade’ regimes, impose capitalist neo-liberal models that result in expansionism, military control or war, and ‘forced displacements’ of peoples,

Because forced migration is not the same as natural migration, and that forced migration is caused by neo-liberal capitalist globalization under the NAFTA, CAFTA, and many other bi-lateral free trade agreements already in place either with the United States block of the European Union.

Because forced migration will continue world wide until we ‘dismantle the neo liberal capitalist system that is now a FAILED CORPORATE STATE and replace it with a ‘sustainable’ earth and people friendly system,

We believe and therefore propose,

  • We propose a UNIVERSAL RIGHTS OF MIGRANTS (Magna Carta) that recognizes the a ‘UIVERSAL CITIZENSHIP’ of every human being no matter what country they find themselves, giving equal rights to every citizen of every country in the world.
  • We propose to develop a ‘BLUEPRINT’ to obtain Universal Citizenship rights for all displaced migrant populations and that every country in the World recognizes this right.  The Blueprint will layout how to obtain ‘Comprehensive Immigration rights’ in the United States and force Obama to push it through Congress.
  • We propose all displaced migrants be given ‘legal status’ immediately under the ‘natural right’ of citizenship that is universally recognized, and to start of with the United States.
  • We propose that Arizona be ‘ground zero’ of the struggle for inter-independence, for the recognition of the right to Universal Citizenship, and that any implementation of illegal and unconstitutional laws based on hate and racism, will be documented and denounced as a gross violation on Human Rights and Universal Citizenship rights.
  • We propose as national and International Day of ACTION July 29th when the racist law 1070 goes into effect in Arizona.
