Bill of Rights for All Youth (focus on Education)

We are working in solidarity to draft a National Student Bill of Rights for All Youth (NSBR) that will become a unifying document for youth nation-wide and a driving force for youth movement building!

National Student Bill of Rights For All Youth

Resolution Cities already involved: Baltimore, Oakland, Salt Lake City, Chicago, and Providence

-New Cities or State: Michigan, Seattle, Texas

-Adults supporting campaign Student: there is a need

-Support structure, (local movements local empowerment for youth to get involved, creating a national movement)

-Sharing the work, inspires “how we do that”

-Making the national bill of right go through local (school, district, state) then national

-Talking about how we will spread and make it a national movement!

- Adult Ally Coordinating Committee

- Connect youth who are active with other less active cities (Skype, sharing Videos)

- Free Minds Free People Conference at Providence o Build national student bill of rights there, by coming things o Workshops on how cities did the process for their rights o

- Coming together in winter, by region or national. At Chicago. o Find common rights for the national bill o Think beyond the FMFP conference (space, common issues, develop goals for real change)

- Continue the work we are doing, the movements in the different cities
